Welcome to BC Dreamers
BC Dreamers is a website designed to help undocumented students succeed at Bakersfield College and beyond. This website hopes to provide information regarding changing laws and policies, national and local news regarding the Dream Act and Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, schedule information regarding our on-campus group meetings, and other useful information. Equally important, BC Dreamers is designed to provide support for our undocumented students and allies. Together, we can succeed.
Book Scholarship: The Kern County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Business Education Foundation is awarding six $250 book scholarships to deserving students. The application is short and the plan is to award the scholarships at the “El Grito” ceremony so the deadline is also short – Tuesday, September 6, 2016. Once completed, the application can be emailed to Jorge Barrientos at jbarrientos@chainlaw.com
